Back to the Hamilton Farmers Market last sunday
Last sunday, I braved a 5:00am early start and loaded up the van with any ripe produce I could find.
The call had gone out to man the stall at the inaugural Post Level 4&3 farmers market in Hamilton.
A hot coffee and 2 hour drive later, I pulled in to the Markets at Claudelands Event Centre, not sure what to expect. Market manager Fleur had done a great job with the site set up and rules of engagement with the punters.
All in all a low sales day, but it was great to catch up with all my market stall buddies and regular customer friends, listen to their experiences of the lockdown and see some retail normality returning.
